regen. Last updated 18 September 2026.
regen is a private, single-user application built and run by Vicki Keeley for her own use. It has no other users, no sign-up and no public instance. This policy describes what it reads, what it keeps and who else processes any of it.
With your permission, regen reads your Google Calendar using read-only access
(calendar.readonly). It never creates, edits or deletes a calendar event. It reads
only the calendars explicitly listed in its own configuration, and it does not read any other
calendar on the account, including work calendars.
It also reads tasks from named projects in Todoist, using a personal API token, to understand what the day is being asked to hold.
regen stores a record of each planned day so it can learn how accurate its estimates were: the date, its estimate of the day's demand, and what actually happened. From calendars used to mark time off, it keeps only the dates covered, never the events themselves.
Credentials are held as encrypted secrets on the server and are never written to the database. Event titles, task names and similar content are deliberately excluded from application logs.
The application runs on Cloudflare, which hosts it and stores its database. Some features send the name of a calendar event or task to a third-party language model provider so it can be categorised, or so the assistant can discuss the day. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to train anyone's models.
regen's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to provide the planning features described above, and is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide those features, or as required by law.
Data is kept while the application is in use and can be deleted at any time by its owner. Access can be withdrawn at any point from the Google account permissions page, which immediately stops the application reading the calendar.
